Compromising Positions (Judith Singer Novels) [Kindle Edition]

I bought this book once being attentive to its sequel, "Long Time, No See" on tape on my daily commute to figure. Like its sequel, "Compromising Positions" centers round the life and love interests of Judith Singer. during this book, Judith is in her time of life, a bored wife with a captivating house and less-than-charming dud of a husband.tho' the plot of this novel is Judith's involvement in a very putting to death investigation, I found that the important story was in Judith's marital status perplexity. What does one do after you are a bright educated adult female United Nations agency loves her kids however longs for a career and adult companionship? What does one do once your husband works long hours, fails to produce you with the society you look for, tells you you've got gotten fat, and treats you prefer the maid? In Judith's case, you have got associate degree affair with the lieutenant answerable of the murder investigation.

Judith's investigation into Dr. Bruce Fleckstein's murder is smartly written and full of twists and turns. it absolutely was fascinatinghowever not the most effective a part of this glorious story. I appreciated the author's humor, and her howling characterization of Judith, her holier-than-thou husband Bob, her evilly clever succor urban center Miller, and her law and order lover, Nelson Sharpe.

This book left ME wanting additional. I known with Judith vastly despite the very fact that I don't however have kids and that i work outside the housescan this book for its deft humor, clever mystery and vastly like-able heroine.
